Perhaps LN-KGL with his intimate knowledge of winter ops equipment could advise if such a thing exists?
I know of one system that was supposed to thaw aircraft using infrared rays. This Canadian built system was tested at OSL a few years ago.

The result was very clear. The infrared "oven" failed miserably. The ice melted on top of the fuselage, wings and elevators, but the meltwater refroze and formed new icicles under the wings, under the fuselage and under the elevators, and the undergarriage was coated with black ice.

My advice to MAN would be: chemical deicing takes time but it works; infrared doesn't work at all.
