Why Cb?
My wife asked me this evening why Cumulonimbus is referred to as "Cb" and not the logical "Cn" !
This was related to me talking about the AirAsia flight incident on the news today being possibly connected to flight in or near Cb at high altitude!
I tried to find the answer as to why Cb and not Cn and found nothing by googling - to save my credibility can anyone else answer this?
