Looking at the video @ 2:09, the fenestron tail section is seen in the water and appears to be bobbing as if separate from the rest of the airframe. When the fenestron section is shown being carried away from the scene @3:35, there is a very definitive and clean cut. Surely the ac would be recovered from the water as a whole, if it was all in one piece.
Looking at the size of the guys hand, carrying the section @ 3:36, the separation line is just about where the rear of the inspection panel on the port side is. Also along that same part of the tail boom circumference there is the mounting rivet line for the ILS ae.
I accept that it could have occured on impact with the water given the right angles etc, but that part of the tail boom seems quite strong in other cases, such as Glasgow, & Norway.
Just an observation, but it seems a little strange to have such a clean cut.
