As for what should be elevated to the ranks of stickies, that's in the hands of the moderators. I've always been of the opinion that most of my posts should be made into stickies. I wait patiently in vain for such an honour.

A little tip for others, your post will most likely be skipped and at best skim-read if you fail to articulate yourself in a manner which encourages the reader to finish your post.
Without having read properly since university, thus making me somewhat of a hypocrite, you can really distinguish the potentially employable, well articulated folk from the 'rest of ya'.
