Yea sure 130 Eagle Pilots. 10-25 who are contract management pilots or on yes letter to jets so let's say 100 Eagle pilots left competing for these 60 ATR jobs. But really 100? Get real!! Let's say 10-15 who will either retire or look elsewhere for jobs so 85 pilots for 60 jobs. Air NZ might just say "Ok let's carry a bit of fat for a while".
Everything on this site is speculation and rumours. Hence the name PPRUNE! So how can anyone on the outside of Eagle/Air NZ actually know what's going to happen?
It's up to the working group and senior management in Air NZ to make the decisions.
Unfortunately it is the world we live in, were we all like to speculate and come across as knowing all.
Until stuff comes out in writing from the company, give it a break guys. Think of how it must feel for an Eagle guy coming on here and seeing all the crap you guys write.
That's my 2 cents worth. Now I'll just sit back and laugh at everyone who takes a dig at me
