Seriously, that badge still bugs me. If it's not Garfield, and not the Crown of Ashoka, could it be the RNAS (or whatever the Fleet Air Arm calls itself these days) ? What is it ?
Another thing; never flew a Mk.V., but the Is and IIs had a little 4-in "finger" which poked up on the upper wings (confirmed u/c down and locked) just about where that chap's sitting.......?
Did the XIs and XVIs have it (and the Griffons) ? Can't remember.
