I have noticed that the ADS-B was shut down on all of the first 4 ATR 600's and only the last ZK-MVE remains visible to ADS receivers on the ground. I hope this shut down is temporary (Possibly due to OEM certs). Year 2020 is supposed to see the shut down of radar with ADS-B and Mlat taking over, but it looks to me as if less than 10% of NZ Acft are ADS-B equipped now. Are we going to fall short of the target due to penny pinching by ANZ?
