ATPL Law - Quadrantal rule Qs?
I have just finished my ATPL Law module and there was no mention of the quadrantal rule, only the obvious semi-circular rule. However, browsing through JAR feedback I have a seen a number of Qs on the subject. Now I thought the quadrantal rule was specific to the UK only and hence did not apply to JAR. Even my instructor got a shock when I said that I had seen quadrantal rule Qs!
Can anyone shed light on this subject? I appreciate that the rule is easy to apply but it does not appear to be in the JAR objectives and therefore what's the point of the objectives in the first place?
