"Aer lingus could not hold paris as the DAA gave them slots only for 4pm to minimize the effect on Dublin and Cork, so the service was a failure as it could not cater for business passengers"
The DAA dont allocate slots, Airport Co-ordination limited do for Irish airports, and in any case, SNN is not even slot controlled! Plus, DUB hardly requires "protection" from SNN when it already has about 12 flights a day to Paris.
Nothing more than another "conspiracy" Urban myth - that is not how airlines decide their schedules, in particular at a quiet airport that is merely schedules facilitated.
