Good points mart901 the northwest of England is one of Knocks strongest markets - it's also important to note they also have an East Midlands service 4-5 times per week in addition so obviously strong market there
Completly agree.
- if BHX etc was so strong why did EIR withdraw?
Aer Lingus regional needed the aircraft for the Donegal route. So BHX,EDI,BRS were axed
Manchester was axed due to competition.

Either way as I said think market for airports in these services

I do not doubt that at all, if there is one market all irish airports have in common its the UK market. There is not an airport in ireland (With commercial flights) that does not have a flight to the UK. My point is that with the shortage of aircraft you can only operate one of the 2 routes, so which would be more profitable? My educated guess would be shannon.
