I never said ryanair should, I said im surprised they haven't.
These are the reasons

1.)Lower landing fees at shannon
2.)Larger catchment at shannon.

If the route is struggling a bit at knock, surely it would be more profitable from shannon. Do you agree with that?

What is your basis for this? Liverpool is right beside Manchester, in knock ryanair had only seasonal competition on flybe's service to Manchester, but in Shannon they had a 3times daily Aer Lingus regional service.

Would you not consider Wroclaw mainland europe?

Why? Because once you reach 90mins other airports can be easier to reach.
Athlone is 80mins from knock and most of athlone fly from Dublin.

And no matter how small the country and airports, an extremely lively debate is always possible. Ireland especially due to all the airports in the least densest populated area of the country.
