Still no sign of the third prototype. #3 & 4 were originally scheduled to fly in
2002, with #3's departure gradually pushed back in line with the program slippage, the most recent prediction being "
the end of 2014." Must make for some interesting obsolescence (/supply chain) management!
Also interesting to see
talk of an 'upgraded version of the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 engine" with "the latest in technological developments." More power, or just the replacement of the EEC's out-of-production chips?
