My tuppenceworth?
It says PP on the tin. The company employs several hundred professional pilots.
Ergo, it's important enough to appear, at least initially, on this page.
Fair comment Basil, but it also employs (some very good) engineers and cabin crew, to say nothing of its use of ATC, airports and ground handling facilities. Oh! And almost forgot the SLF. It's not just about pilots y'know!
Clearly the sudden departure of someone so senior in the business is important, but no-one is (or should be) bigger than the business. Total recently lost its CEO in a plane crash, but apart from a knee-jerk reaction from the stock market, little has changed within the company.
