Just to keep things in proper perspective...
Seem to remember that it was an ORD based AA Chief Pilot who was at the controls of the ill-fated AA MD80 at Little Rock not so long ago.
Poor decision(s) then...perhaps now as well. NTSB will find out, in due course.
