The school permits dual flights only when the winds start to pick up, but there is usually not much flying because it gets very bumpy at altitude to learn anything.
The slings have a crosswind limit of about 15kts, which will limit it when then winds get very strong, but P.E has two runways that cross each other at about 90 degrees so you might hardly bust those limits.
P.E sometimes gets winds from 20kts gusting up to 40kts. As i write this, the winds are 24021G32KT, but not all days are like this.
With its light-weight, sensitivity and strong P.E winds, flying the slings safely, takes a light touch, proper initial guidance on the landing technique and balked landing procedures and some experience in order to avoid the dreaded nose wheel damages that some students have encountered.
