From what i know, they can force to do a spilt duty BUT you need to have a quiet place where you can have a decent rest. In other words, they should book you a hotelroom. Perhaps someone else can give you more info. But just saying that your waiting time with the FBO is considered as rest.......
that is for sure a no go. Even with split duty, there are some limitations.
