The 767-200's that Excel have are not the ER versions, so they will struggle to reach those destinations without a stop on the way. When they were planned to fly trasnatlantic routes for us, they were ALWAYS planned with a stop...It was a real bonus if you got there in one go!!

Shame about the nightstop situation for the crew...one night is better that nothing though! If its only a one night stop, then they must be operating a daily service, in order to rotate the crews. Either that or they are going to start positioning crew to and fro with scheduled carriers on a regular basis. If this is the case then they might want to have a word with the Idiots at Britannia that came up with the same idea a few years ago for our HKT flights...Talk about waste of money...Lets just say the idea didn't last long!!!
