The latest word I heard on the street is that some of the OMAL Approach Unit will be based in the current Abu Dhabi Approach room on Floor 1 of the OMAA control tower, while the military side of things will be done at Al Ain airport.
Now that would be interesting ! Like it isn't a big enough mess already - with fixed and rotary wing on different frequencies. Now lets put the military on a separate frequency too...
