Finished around Christmas 2006 due to direct and indirect competition. Its loads were quite good but that was during the height of the Celtic Tiger era. It remains to be seen whether it will attract the same support in these frugal times. Cork has very little to lose by going after foreign carriers given the present attitude of Ryanair and Aerlingus to the airport.
