British media....what do you expect!!! in any case, and knowing quite well the LJ60, still donīt get how that door got dettached from aircraft. That part of the fuselage is not pressurised, those doors are normally quite hard to open as locking pins work really well and the latch has to be completely in, if not you get a annunciator light on the panel.
Dettaching from aircraft you may get structural damage on the left rear delta fin but that will not compromise the flying, those lears are built to get tons of stress.
