Wow ….
What a difference 24 hrs makes from my last post re the airport and Ryanair never saw that one comming , absolutly fantastic news for the airport and public with a wide range of destinations to compliment
As usual there has been a barage of moans to the local paper regarding the drop off fee instead of supporting the airport and getting behind the new routes
The airport always said they would look at this fee once regular services or enough passengers went through the airport so in due course this could well happen with the fee being halved
What the airport needs to do now though is get the road to the terminal sorted out and find a drop off area that suits all , prehaps between the departure and arrival buildings seems to have a large area of space to do this
It could also see an executive lounge being built , plenty of room inside the terminal building , something i think BOH could well do with and probably is one of the only UK airports not having one
All in all a brilliant job in getting Flybe in to Bournemouth and hope now it will be well supported
