Why would he buy the airport, what benefit would that bring him? As long as the airport is there and isn't threatened with closure then that is all he needs. A multi-million pound investment for zero return? Not his style.
Probably just announcing a free shuttle bus from the airport to his golf course, or a dual marketing agreement.
