Only by ripping out the entire avionics suite - including the radar and computers as well as the entire non-flight-control wiring set - and replacing it with the systems from the F-35.
I hafta wonder about that. 90% of the sensor fusion capability is in the software and the advanced processors. The Super Hornet currently has close to the processing power of the F-35 and the Advanced Super Hornet
already exceeds the F-35's processing power. Same with the radar and most other sensors. It seems to me that the sensor fusion could be added to the Advanced Super Hornet package without resorting to "ripping out" much of anything.
