Thanks for the info B737,

If I may add that I have a South African PPL and Night Rating with 96hrs TT. What would you do next in my situation. I have started the Bristol EASA ATPL distance learning course. (Based in GLA).

The attraction for me with command is the jet type rating. I am hoping that I can slot into their program at the end of the PPL section and simply convert my SA PPL. This ought to save some time and money but still give me access to the MCC, JOC, Type Rating, Interview coaching and the guaranteed interview. Is a Citation rating going to be a big advantage on my CV? (When applying for airlines). Obviously I would be more than happy getting Citation work too.

I could continue the self organised Modular route but the organisation and reputation of Command seem to be worth a serious think about.
