How can "Cap R" not work? I can understand R not working, or indeed the Cap-Shift Key, but Cap R only?
Does it work with CapsLock on?
Anyhow, you can always use
Offline Windows Password & Registry Editor to boot with and reset the admin password to blank, then change to something not containing R (or r, or Caps)!
