Interesting read WHBM but you let yourself down towards the end. No window blinds but few passengers book an airline based on whether there are window blinds and I very much doubt it's an issue for most. Also there is a special onboard menu card for the food and drink so not that hard to find what is on sale - maybe you didn't look far enough in the seat pocket.
