Talking of water ingress at the Queens, going through T3 last Sunday evening I saw modern examples of watercapture. A clever design like a small hammock, a plastic scoop that was secured to the ceiling at four points, catching the leak. This had a drain pipe to the ground into a large receptacle for easy emptying.
