The Nova documentary on MH 370 was great. I've spent the past five years studying AF 447 for a book and film called Pilot Error and the explanation of that accident in this program was well done. A number of the people who worked on AF 447 such as the Woods Hole team are now helping the search for MH 370. One theory is that if the pings heard last spring during the initial search were from the lost plane there is a 50/50 chance that they may find the plane within six months. It took 22 months to find AF 447 and that was after they initially spotted some of the wreckage. Would love to hear what others think.
