Airways Museum Open Day - Saturday 8 November
A reminder that the annual 'Open Day' at the Airways Museum is on Saturday week (8 Nov). The exhibition this year is titled Macarthur Job: A Life in Aviation and looks at the life of the renowned 1950s flying doctor pilot and author who passed away earlier this year.
Guest speakers for the day have now been finalised. They are the Editor of CASA's Flight Safety Australia magazine Robert Wilson, and aviation historian and raconteur Geoff Goodall. Details are available on the CAHS website.
Flight Safety Australia (FSA) is successor to the famous Aviation Safety Digest, edited by Mac Job in the 1960s and 70s. CASA is publishing a 'Mac Job Special Edition' of FSA that will coincide with the Open Day.
