It appears that you are still struggling with the concept of arguing your case "with dignity and respect". You are kicking off because TimmyW has reported a significant schedule change affecting a DSA scheduled service. This is the DSA thread. Why does this news not constitute "something useful to say"? And why on earth is a factual report of a schedule adjustment confirmed by the airport itself "slanderous"? Threads such as this exist to enable interested parties to remain well informed about developments at the airport, positive and negative alike.

Links Air have adjusted their schedule to match anticipated Winter demand. That is sound business practice which gives their service the best possible prospect to survive and prosper going forward. Flying empty aeroplanes around at high frequency in low season is not sound business practice … it is the express highway to insolvency. Evidence of common sense management strategy at Links Air or any other business is good news, not bad.

And do rethink the stuff about being a "supporter" of DSA. An airport is a business, not a football team. If you have a liking for the place that's fine, but this concept of kicking off at anybody who reports factual developments which you perceive to be "bad news" is simply not on. This board is intended for the use of professionals who need to be fully informed, not fed carefully filtered good news stories North Korea style.

Did you apologise to TimmyW after your last rant? Because I didn't see it. Maybe you PM'd him? Well, if not, you still owe him an apology. Please stick to discussion of the airport and its services and keep tiresome personal attacks out of it. Think "zip it" on the personal stuff.
