Punch in which a "chinless wonder" of an army officer, in breeches and tunic, Sam Browne belt and all, is being shown over a submarine by a large bearded officer in a submarine sweater and sea-boots, and in the forends is regarding all the complicated machinery with some puzzlement, and says to his naval officer friend “I suppose you have some sergeant Johnny who understands these things?"
