I understand that to qualify for UK domestic uni fees, rather than foreign student rates, and for the student loan, the student has to have been a UK domicile for the preceding three years, not two, and that merely attending a UK school is insufficient - boarding schools do not qualify; the student must have been fully domiciled, which means living with family of friends in the UK permanently.
