It is nice to see the management thinking about the City of London and hence business customers
So is SEN gaining much business jet traffic? Surely this should be an area for massive growth. Many if not most business jets can't land at London City due to its steep approach path. Also they don't need long runways and their passengers don't use public transport so no issues there with a lack of early and late trains at Southend.
Luton is just heaving with business jets parked up to 5 deep on 7 different aprons so there is plenty of business to go around. When you add to that the amount of biz jet traffic that uses Farnborough, Stansted, Biggin Hill and Northholt Southend should be buzzing but is it?
