With United posting a $ 1.1 billion 3rd quarter profit I think they will stick with ORD for at least 2 more years, in fact I think that they will start seasonal IAH within 2 years cementing UA as the main TATL from EDI.
US/AA route to PHL has done well this year which I can only see cutting more into GLA passengers (steady Joe!) so all we need is Delta to give EDI the JFK and ATL route again but with advertising and better timings this time.
