Thanks, can't say I totally disagree and I moved to Thunderbird after a previous suggestion of yours, and got used to it, but picked up a virus from somewhere - not necessarily as a result of Thunderbird - but my Man Wot Does had some objection to it, and as I had a free, unused copy of MS. Office Suite 2007 that I had "won" and never used, after he wiped everything off my computer and started again, I found that I had Outlook installed, so am living with it for now, but if it doesn't behave itself I'll revert to Thunderbird again - maybe.
