Airbus has what they call a Pyramidal computers structures and on top of this, the boss, is FMGS.
Should the crew select fuel weight in the FMCS for flight planning purpose, BEFORE refueling is finished and this quantity is less than the "Selected" refuel load, FMGS send a command to FMCS to stop the refuel when this "fuel weight" is reached, and you will have no direct informarion, just the fail light on refuel panel blinking.
To correct it, out of memory, you have to clear /no zeroed/ fuel weight in FMGS and do a cockpit FMGS reset.
