Working on EASA License.. Conversion required??

Folks,

This is obviously subject to meeting all the experience requirements, having the right type rating etc etc and all the caveats that even comes before deciding to apply for the remote possibly of a job..

Thinking that most providers in Asia/Middle East stipulate.. "ICAO CPL" or ICAO ATPL.. and a Valid Class 1 Medical..

Can you therefore have an EASA CPL/ME/IR etc with an FAA Class 1 Medical? or would you need to convert the license to one of the state of issue/state of intended work AND a medical from for example DGCAA or Pakistan CAA, Middle East etc etc...

I have put this in the South Asian Forums.. but the question is applicable to Middle East also.

The reason I ask is that there have been some threads which state you need an FAA License + FAA Medical to work in ME, Asia etc.

I am just thinking out loud.

Obviously requires a lot more research from my side so apologies if this is covered elsewhere in a thread. Sorry if i have convoluted the explanation somewhat!
