Go to a gliding club & learn to actually fly.
I may have mentioned it once or twenty times before...that I think all powered pilots should solo on a glider first. Things like stalls, spins are all so obvious in a glider. You can turn until you start to nibble and just relax the back pressure, it's not even a movement as such to get the wing working again then squeeze to the nibble and release, you can do that all day long and you can
hear the wing struggling. You can throw it into a spin one way then the other and
feel everything that is going on without the racket and vibration of the engine up front.
I suppose folk will still fly like they drive their cars though.
