For what it's worth, people worrying about the 25K, I wouldn't. If you have an acceptance letter from AL into the training there are very few banks that would not accept your custom. AL pilots are very well paid with steady jobs. My girlfriend works for a bank and she says they love to see pilots come through the door and have a higher chance of getting a loan/mortgage than others.
Especially with a letter of acceptance I'd doubt very much you wouldn't raise 25K. Maybe there are pilots out there that disagree. Also, they stated that you are an AL employee from the moment you start training.
