Even the BAE flying club operates from Blackpool although the Lancashire police helicopter is based at Warton.
There are also BAE146 business related passenger flights operating to their other sites so the airfield is already licensed.
The big issue will be that I think the airfield is shut at weekends and only operates during business hours during the week.
