I was a passenger on this plane and I can assure you that this was not a pleasant experience. With fuel pouring out of the wing for what felt like forever I at no stage felt safe and the way the staff reacted was not calming either. They all looked very panicked.
I don't think knocking the crew is very helpful in this instance. Unpremeditated emergencies are exactly that. You claim the crew weren't calming and looked panicked. As a witness would you mind elaborating on this point as I believe BA's emergency training is second to none. At least it was in my day.

Regarding compensation what would you like? I'm sure BA looked after you and put you up at a hotel and fed you in the same way as a technical delay until the next available flight. If you're after £££ then you need to spend £££ to proceed further.
