The summer is the quiet period for the 787, so 6 for long haul next summer would be about correct. Next summer we will have 8 and they intend to use 2 on short haul ,1 each at Man and LGW. It may only be for the peak months though.
A cabin refresh has been announced on the current fleet of 757 / 738 and possible a trial of this new seating arrangement at some stage.
