I highly doubt it will be the Capital, we are a HOLIDAY airline and the Costa Rica I did 2 years ago was to Liberia on the west coast as Thomson Airways and not First Choice.
It's a beautiful country and could not understand why it was dropped after only 1 winter, allegedly it made money, just not Enough money......
Look forward to going back and going up the volcanoes!!!
Two big differences now are
- the recession is apparently ending - holiday prices have definitely gone up in the last couple of years and they're selling
- Riu (also part of the Tui family) have two new huge hotels there - one hand would be washing the other if Thomson took guests to fill them.
