What were the City Jet fares like latterly?
I know that they started off pricing competitively on the Cardiff routes, however I have noticed that on other City Jet routes prices tended to go one way, up! They are by no means a cheap airline to fly with.
One wonders whether FlyBe/Loganair would have been a better option in terms of operating the Cardiff routes (as was the original plan to Glasgow). The FlyBe advantage being that the brand is better known among the travelling public and the airline, although not low cost, is certainly lower cost.
