can we get back to the thread please, would be nice to know if anyone knows anything about how many E190's are on their way to Cobham.
The refueller spoke to a stores guy who is going out with the sister of a cleaner at Cobham. She reckons that initially one airframe, followed later in the year by a second, both for Chevron on the BWX contract. After that it will depend on contracts won and then simply lease more airframes. As the cleaner explained to her sister, all the pain and expense is in getting the first aircraft on the AOC and crewed up, engineers trained etc. After that it is simply a matter of scaling.
