Thanks for replying billyfish2, I know you and irish flyer amongst others are starting in jerez soon and I wish you's all the best.. .I still believe bae to be the better option for intergrated students and still have not completely ruled them out as an option.. .But as I said earlier the market for intergrated students isnt what it used to be, and Wee Weasley Welshmans recent post "6 months on" goes into this in more detail, although the market will pick up, I believe those who have the greater experience whether it be instructing or hour building or whatever will be in just as strong a position as those fresh intergrated cadets. . .Situations of course differ for each individual but in mine the simple case is due to price increases my supplementary cash I planned for will now disappear, the cash I planned to get an instructors with will be used and any hope of applying to ryanair with open cheque book would also be beyond me. The modular route would allow me all these luxuries and keep me in the airfield throughout these turbelent times.. .My head is melted at the moment with all these decisions to make but a well calculated decision it must be, and at the end of the day the goal is the same (AIRLINE JOB). The intergrated route join the queque at the main door, or modular and bide your time out the back mountain flying/aerobatic course/instructing/and generally doing what I was born to do, I don't want to lose sight of that neither, although all I want to do is fly for the airlines I think alot of the fun side of flying has been forgotten about,I want to partcipate in aerobatics and island hopping and air races and spend my weekend's mucking in at the aerodrome is that miserable or what but there you go.. .I rather that then going back to electronics sector that I am in now trying to earn enough to keep current.. .Again more ramblings with that FRIDAY feeling but I am on nights once again so forgive me.. .Fellow pprune wannabe's we shall look back on this period as we are commanding a jet sometime in the near future and have a little giggle to ourselves and say what the hell was I bothered about I was destined for this anyway.. . <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="rolleyes.gif" /> Nightshifts <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="rolleyes.gif" />
