ISTR from an intelligence briefing that the Sovs did have access to the A-9 plans when designing the Frogfoot. Apparently the security classification was downgraded after it lost the competition to the A-10.
I think the A-10 is ideal for raghead-bashing! As would be the use of ANG pilots to do it!
