hey Party - don't feel too sorry for your mate - if he is Flt Lt PAS and near the top (level 35? - think there is a bar for Flt Lt under the latest system? ) - he is on near enough £80k. Not too shabby. I speak as someone who was also pulling in the PAS moolah until redundancy - not much chance of replicating that wage in civvy street in my locale.
