Ahh Coff, I rather suspect that like many ex techies, I can think of several "orifices" I would definitely have enjoyed giving a dose of PX24 (WD40) to. Mostly, not members of the winged variety. There's always the "rogue" and the bloke I mentioned was one of them. By the time I had become a C130 Ground Engineer I had grown up, so perhaps seeing people of similar age and time in service, regardless of rank, made me think that I was entitled to the same respect as them made me a bolshie when they tried their "I am" attitudes on me. Do it to the Captain you're checking mate, don't try it on with me, I've got a job to do. Whatever, I only ever had two "run ins " with such people, the same bloke both times.
