What's wrong with competing with the American Airlines! I've always found
United's fare's to be at the high end. Plus they weren't flying daily
For the whole season!!!
"The summer service will operate during the period May 23 to Sept. 15, 2014, a longer period than last year. The frequency of the service is five flights weekly during the periods May 23 to Jun. 16 and Aug. 19 to Sep. 1, daily between Jun. 17 and Aug. 18, and four flights weekly between Sept. 2 and Sept. 15 "
Shannon Airport press release
Nothing wrong with it but its likely SNN couldn't sustain two operators. UA ORD/PHL/JFK (with DL) are very peak season and make losses outside of June-August. What would EI do with the aircraft for the other 8 months
of the year?

Its not happening anyway. As for price, all airlines operating ex IRL in the summer are expensive.

Also rumoured was a reduction in summer BOS/JFK frequency to fit 2x YYZ and 3x MCO but it's not actually happening either.
Could a 757 even reach MCO anyway?
